Isn't that the typical European mentality, seclude yourself from all things that appears evil in our eyes?? That typical European mentality of "We are better of if we stay among ourselves?"
I know that many (white) American christians think that the Amish are true believers. I do believe some of them are born-again and that group is getting bigger. But the truth is: the majority is just religious, they don't have a personal relationship with God/Jesus. From what I've read about their beliefs, I don't think they really believe that you can have salvation by accepting Jesus or something like that. They only preach hell and condemnation.
Didn't Jesus say in Mark 16:15:
"Go into all the world and preach the gospel to all creation."
He didn't say to seclude yourself from all worldly things and all things evil. He even said in Luke 16:9:
"I tell you, use worldly wealth to gain friends for yourselves, so that when it is gone, you will be welcomed into eternal dwellings."
What about the issue of being banned from the Amish community if you committed sin or anything else that doesn't comply with their regulations? Is that what Jesus preached? He preached you have to forgive!
So no my dear friends, The Amish are in a great way NOT an example of how to be a true born-again christian. Don't be ignorant about this, but embrace the truth through the Word of God.

Unfortunately this group of people clearly aren't really converted. I think they have formed this group, because they want to rebel against the American society which treats black Americans still bad. Though I agree (as white male) with some doctrines of them, the main doctrine they teach is still wrong and false.
It's wrong to form your own religion, no matter what the reason is. They preach that God hates whites and only loves blacks; they are referring to Jacob and Esau, because somewhere in the bible it's written (Romans 9:13) that God loves Jacob, but hates Esau because they assume that Esau must be white, because of his red hair and Jacob black. This is NOT the meaning of that bible scripture.
The bible text is not about the election to salvation, but the election of Israel. God had chosen Jacob as a forefather of the nation Israel. The birthright went to Jacob, and Esau was the oldest. This scripture does not mean that God hated Esau, but the meaning of hate here is: putting in second place. God put Esau in second place, after Jacob.

Not so long ago I saw a program about male and female transgenders. One by one they mentioned that they always felt masculin or feminin. The thing that astonished me is that women who turned into a man don't look female at all: you can't tell they were a woman before, whereas men who turned into women show somewhat masculin features.
So what do you think transgenders are? Aren't they just gay? Tell me what you think.

Right now I'm up very early, I couldn't sleep well last night. I'm feeling a bit woozy, I guess I won't go to church today. My wife has morning sickness so she won't go either. Anyway, wishing you all a blessed Sunday filled with love.

Here is my new baby boy: Liam Frank Copeland! Born: December 24, 2014. The labour of my wife went well, though very painfully in the beginning. But nothing can take away my happiness for my child! I'm looking at him and I get tears in my eyes...I can't believe he is ours. He is perfect in every way...we owe it all to God!
Have a great week!
